Good breakfast. Above average bloody mary, simple breakfast menu with the staples you would expect. Has a local, small town, unpretentious vibe & isn't overly touristy. Small and clean bar and seating area, service was friendly but not super fast. Perfect place if you are looking for a low key, casual breakfast/brunch with a cocktail.

This is a regular stop on our trips the "The Dells". It's a great place to have drinks or watch the sporting events. Every Friday and Saturday nights during the summer they have live music in the connecting covered outside bar Baja Cantina. Have seen many great performances there! Drink service is excellent! Highly recommended the pizza, breakfast, bloody marys and if you are a tequila drinker they feature Cabo Wabo. Highly recommend for people that like the hometown bar atmosphere. Popular for birthday and bachlorette parties.

O.M.G. I cannot believe I didn't review this place last year! This is a little, more local than anything, type of bar in downtown Wisconsin Dells. It has been pretty empty the couple times we have gone but does seem to get SUPER packed on Packers game days/nights, especially when they are playing the Bears like when we were up there! The place is pretty big and open and just feels like a sports bar. And even when you look at the menu, it all seems pretty standard for a bar...that is...until you taste the food. Then you die...cause it's SO amazing. You are always greeted pretty promptly from a friendly face who is ready to take your drink and food order. So, both times I've had the chicken fingers and then the list is as follows: tortilla soup, Moroccan chicken salad, pizza (veggie) and the Reuben sandwich. Everything was amazing! I didn't really get the whole Moroccan thing with the salad but regardless, it was delicious, grilled chicken, fresh greens and delicious French dressing. The tortilla soup was actually more like a chicken chili which I LOVED! It was rich, delicious and loaded with fresh veggies, chicken and beans. YUM! The chicken fingers are made in house and are very juicy and tender. They are served with ranch, of course, which is also delicious. The veggie pizza is seriously one of the best pizzas I've had! The crust is cracker thin and crispy and the sauce is perfect, not too tangy. And it is LOADED with tons of fresh veggies! Seriously, I LOVE it! Now for that Reuben. Yes, it needs it's own paragraph...it's just that fucking good!! I am literally in the process of submitting it to Diners Drive-In's and Dives, for real. The sandwich is described on the menu like any other plain old Reuben. Corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, thousand island on marbled rye. Well, that's all out the window once this beauty lands in front of your face!! This sandwich consists of the cheese and dressing as described but is loaded up with thick cut, juicy, tender corned beef that was literally DRIPPING with juices! Never in my life have I seen something so sexy! =] And this was all on top of a marbled rye bun that was so soft and fresh. The combination of everything was absolutely amazing! Honestly, easily the BEST corned beef/Reuben I have ever had and probably ever will have. It's just that good. I'm telling you, this place seems unassuming and just like any other bar, but behind the facade, there is someone cooking up gourmet food that is inventive and executed amazingly! A definite MUST try if you are in the Dells area!!

Excellent service, great burgers. We were dismayed about the pricing of the restaurants on the strip, found this place on a side street and we were pleasantly surprised! By avoiding the strip we were able to save about $10 a plate. Burgers were about $6-$8 each, including fries, and well worth it.

Apparently only 3 restaurants in the entire town of Wisconsin Dells serve breakfast. The other two are iHop and Cheesecake Factory. This is how we landed at the Keg & Baja Cantina. The bar is kind of a mix of a dive and a tourist spot. We walked in and didn't expect anything too spectacular in the way of food, but were pleasantly surprised. I ordered a benedict with hash browns and a side of bacon. I'd rate this on the higher end of diner quality. Don't expect vegetables, it's not that kind of place, but the eggs were poached perfectly and the flavors were exactly what I wanted on a Sunday morning (no surprises!). The server was slightly hilarious, a middle aged lady who sassed us unrelentlessly. She was basically the authentic version of that place in Chicago where they insult you and make you wear stupid paper hats. We liked her. If you go for breakfast, make sure to order the coronarita, because that's the healthy, responsible thing to do.

We walked in on a Monday. Happened to be staying at aB&B up the street. Chi-Town Pizza was closed for a family emergency. We were walking to the grocery store & saw the sign on the window "homemade pizza" and thought what the hey, why not. It was maybe 5pm so the bar wasn't busy. The bartender greeted us like we were regulars, she was fab!! We ordered The White Pizza. Amazing!!! Chicken, fresh maters, mushrooms, but best of all, asparagus!!! Would order again & again. Also the crust was thin & crispy & perfect. Do it! You won't regret it.

Awesome service. Super food. Had pork tenderloin sandwich, fish fry, rueben & prime rib. All were great price for awesome food. Hidden gem for sure!

Four stars for bar food. Best in class cheese curds. However, the fajita salad was an epic fail. Drinks and atmosphere were summer and fun. We had kids with is for lunch and it was okay..but probably not kid friendly for dinner.

We did not have a good experience here. We were surprised at the high reviews here but seems typical for the Dells. They do have a nice outdoor patio and a limited but decent salad bar. The rest is all negative. The service was horrible, we waited over 35 minutes for drinks and over an hour for lunch, and they weren't even busy! The meat on all the food was low quality, pressed breast patty for "grilled chicken' and deli meat with tons of fat for "prime rib sandwich". The prime rib sandwich was supposed to be a "specialty". So disgusting! We ordered cheese curds but didn't bring out until all of orders were out. The waitress said she didn't bring them out before because we didn't ask. We did mention our dissatisfaction and they gave us 20% off our bill.

My 7 year old remembered eating outside last year. My wife craved the reuben. We were back on an day night and had a great experiance. I had the "chuckies" special which was a great pork sandwich. The service was great.

This place was alright. I met some friends for lunch midweek in early January. The restaurant was nearly empty at lunchtime (okay with me), and the bartender was also our server. I had the gyros plate, which was fine. Not great, but not bad. We all had a beer with our meals, and when we were done the bartender took care of our bills (we asked for separate checks before ordering anything). He didn't ask if we wanted any more to drink, so that helped us decide to move on. We found a different bar and hung out for a while. The women's bathroom had two stalls, which I like (not a fan of bathrooms where it's just a toilet in a room and people have to wait out in the hallway). There were no non-meat entrees. There is a public parking lot almost right across the street.

Best place in the Dells for breakfast or dinner. Also a great place to watch games. We have been going for years. Family owned and operated. By the way they have the BEST pizza around no joke and I am from Chicago.

Wow, pretty astounded at how put out our waitress was when we asked her to check on food for our son's food allergy. This was after she informed us that the kitchen yelled at her for allowing breakfast orders even though their menu said breakfast was served for ten more minutes. Really? How hard is it to make breakfast?? No thanks. We left and went to Vicki's Waffles across the street. Now that was incredible food and service!!

Wow, great little place. Wings were amazing, not greasy. Server said they bake them in the pizza oven & then grill them. Baja burger was excellent; comes with jalapeño bacon, how can you not love that? The house chips with onion dip were also really good. I don't know what they use to make the dip, but it was so tasty I was spreading it on my burger in the end. Service was really excellent, got seated right away, refilled our drinks pretty quickly & made several trips back to our table to make sure we didn't need anything. All in all a nice little place right off the main strip that's worth checking out.

We stopped on for breakfast and loved this place! My husband and I both had delicious Bloody Marys. He had the Keg Mag Muffin and I had eggs and bacon- both were great. The best part was the service. Each server was very friendly, especially ours. She went out of her way to help us find things to do in the area since it was raining. Highly recommend this place!

Great service, great food, the wings were very good, not fried, cooked in a convection oven then char grilled, my son had the cheese curds and a tasty burger, I took a chance with a beef sandwich and was surprised how good it was, one of the best places to eat in the Dells.

Came here for Sunday morning breakfast and bloodies. The chicken fried steak was delicious, excellent portions, cooked perfectly. Bloody Mary was well made as well, nothing too fancy as far as toppings go, but the bloody itself was of good proportion. 10/10 would recommend, will return

Okay, mixed response here. Wings - very good. Server was excellent. Atmosphere, as expected for bar / grill concept - a little divey but fine. My authentic Mexican was great - chorizo quesadilla. My husband's chicken street taco was almost certainly pork - one had bacon pieces on bottom. Beans have chorizo in them, very good except my husband does NOT eat pork. Menu gave no indication of random pork products. Server was great - credited meal and extremely nice. Just disappointing to not have clearer info re what food really was.

Great breakfast selection, the standards and a few with their own special twist. Friendly service. Good Bloody Mary.

Friendly service, nice outdoor patio. Great breakfast and bloody! Love the prime rib Benedict!

Wanted to eat somewhere new while on vacation in the dells, the wait was a bit long, but worth it, the Rueben sandwich was incredible and they had some pretty sweet 80's rock playing in the background so it made the wait tolerable.

Came here for brunch with my boyfriend. The food was decent but the service was horrible! My boyfriend had the gyros and eggs and mainly everything was good except we weren't to crazy about the gyros. Seemed like they just warmed it up in water or something. I had the sausage egg and cheese with hashbrowns which was yummy. Now for the service, holy moly! Our server messed up everyone's order somehow who was around us. She was not attentive and took forever to do anything. You can tell she was stressed from the look on her face. When we asked for salt and pepper she never came back so we seeked it out ourselves. There was only 2 girls working the whole garage and outside area. They had to bartend serve buss and run food which is not smart on management. An elderly couple left because they never got their food. A little girl next to us didn't get her pizza and it was blamed on the kitchen forgetting it and I was charged for the wrong tab. Not a great experience. Won't be going back!

Very nice owners and staff! My boyfriend and I first went here in the springtime, wanted to go again this winter. This winter, accidentally crashed their employee Christmas party! Instead of feeling embarrassed they offered us to stay and bought us a round! Great people and will make going back there a tradition!

I would give Nicole our server 1 star :( Food was great though.

This place was on the "bar crawl" punchcard for Wisconsin Dells. So my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. This is a great place for these bars to get business. And it's the only reason we visited "Country Keg." Other than 2 older couples, 1 at the bar and another dining, we were the only patrons. This place is a snoozefest. Drink specials? None. I ordered a Corona, and then we left. The only perk is that this place has a menu, but none of the options seemed appealing: even the "rotisserie chicken" - their only special that day. Snore.

This place is great! Awesome pizza at night. If your hotel is close the breakfast is awesome. Very friendly staff. Will be a regular stop for us when we are in town.

We were traveling across country and stopped to find a place to watch the world cup. The city itself is actually really cool -- it's like a theme park heaven for kids. There was one other couple watching the game with us, and two televisions, so viewing was fine (minus some what looked like pressure points on the screen, but that didn't really interrupt our viewing). We ordered some fried cheese curds, which were fine. Overall, it was okay. The country music overhead was really loud, so it took away from watching the game... oh! The summer shandy beers though, were very, very tasty for both of us (with very different tastes for beer).

This place is a real hidden gem! My boyfriend and I were trying to find a great place to eat for dinner, and after searching on yelp for almost an hour we noticed places didn't have the greatest reviews and we eventually had no idea where to go. We decided on Macs, but after going there at 9pm they were already closed even though they were supposed to be open til 10. While wandering the downtown area , we noticed a lot of other places were closed or empty so we had no idea what to do. We saw this place, noticed a couple eating there and decided to just settle. The menu had a lot of items that sounded appealing, like unique burgers, pizza, and chicken sandwiches. We each decided on a burger since you usually can't go wrong with that. I had the Captain Kid burger which had mushrooms, grilled onions, and cheese on it. It was fantastic! I don't remember what it was called, but boyfriend had one that had a fried egg on it and he loved it too. The fries were also very good. One thing that really stood out was the potato salad though, it was soooooo yummy!!
